Hearing Aid Technology

Hearing aids and hearing aid technology has improved hugely the years.

Today’s technology offers more natural hearing, greater control and connectivity, extra efficiency, increased comfort. Above all it offers the most discreet hearing aids ever.

Hearing aids can now connect seamlessly via Bluetooth with equipment such as your TV, landline, mobile phone, stereo, and other wireless devices, transforming your hearing technology into the world’s smallest hands-free kit. In addition most of them also connect to an app on your smartphone or tablet giving you ultimate control.

Technology has also come a long way in helping to reduce background noise, even in noisy and difficult environments such as the car, restaurants and outdoor windy conditions. Moreover this allows you to focus hearing better, with listening effort, so that you can relax, be yourself and enjoy your social life again.

The colour options have also moved on from ‘hearing aid beige’. For example, we can colour code them to your hair or skin tones. Additionally, for the more gregarious person there are some fantastic colours and patterns available to make your hearing technology a fashion statement and something to show off (much like your glasses!)

As an Independent business we work with all the hearing aid manufacturers giving us the full range to recommend from. Get in touch with us and reclaim your hearing today.
